The NJFOA Central Jersey Chapter is one of four regional divisions of the New Jersey Football Officials Association (NJFOA). It exists to recruit, train, and support high school football officials while upholding professionalism and sportsmanship across Central New Jersey.

■ Purpose
• Provide qualified officials for high school football games.
• Train, evaluate, and certify officials according to NJFOA/NJSIAA standards.
• Promote sportsmanship, professionalism, and consistency in officiating.

■ Structure
• Governed by an Executive Board/Board of Directors of elected officers and committee chairs.
• Recently revised by-laws: unified chapter (no more sub-regions).
• Supports recruitment, cadet training, rules interpretation, and chapter operations.

■ Membership
• Over 160 active members.
• Includes varsity officials, sub-varsity officials, cadets (new trainees), and clock operators.
• Annual dues help fund meetings, training programs, and chapter operations.

• Cadet Program with classroom sessions, field work, exams, and evaluations.
• Regular rules interpretation meetings and clinics.
• Referee-specific training to develop leadership on the field.

• Access to HUDL film exchange for game video study and preparation.
• Shared film from BCC and North Chapter games.
• Helps officials improve mechanics and prepare for future assignments.
